The event begins at 9:00 am in the Multimedia Lecture Hall of the Computer Engineering Department (Building 3703) at Appelstr. 4. There, starting at 9:15 am, PhoenixD member Tanja Mehstäubler (Institute of Quantum Optics and PTB - Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt) will give her lecture "Precision Ion Trap Fabrication for Quantum Clocks and Fundamental Tests".
Mariia Matiushechkina from the Institute of Gravitational Physics and the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute) will give insights into her current research from 11:20 am onwards. Matiushechkina is part of Michèle Heurs' group and will give a talk on the topic "Metasurface mirror effect at telecom wavelength".
From 15:15, Rebecca Graf will present her research on "Ordered self-assembly of cadmium chalcogenide nanoplatelets into stacks". She works in the group of PhoenixD executive Nadja-C. Bigall at the Institute of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry and the Hannover School for Nanotechnology.
From 13:30 to 15:00, there will be a poster session in the foyer of the Laboratory for Nano- and Quantum Engineering (building 3430) at Schneiderberg 39.
The official conference programme ends at 17:00 with the awarding of the poster prize. Afterwards, the LNQE invites you to a cosy end-of-the-day in the foyer of the LNQE research building.
Posters can still apply for the poster session until 13 September 2023. More information on the 19th NanoDay and the current programme is available here.
