Voluntary Academic Year

Every year PhoenixD supports young people who complete a so-called Voluntary Academic Year (German: FWJ) between school and university or training. During the FWJ, participants spend a year working full-time on a research project of their choice. The young people can try things out and learn scientific working methods. They get to know everyday life at an institute, work on their own projects and exchange ideas in regular seminars.
