Purpose of data processing
Data processing is used to send emails or letters to inform you about future events and the further work of the Cluster of Excellence PhoenixD, such as personnel changes, new research results and the documentation of events by electronic or postal means.
Legal basis for data processing
The legal basis for the inclusion in the email distribution list and the use of the data provided to inform you by email about events is your consent under Art. 6 paragraph 1 lit. a) DSGVO.
Obligatino to provide information
You are under no obligation to provide it and may revoke your consent at any time subject to the conditions set out below.
Revocability of consent
You can revoke your consent to data processing at any time with effect for the future. In this case, we will no longer process this data and delete it. The legality of the data processing up to the revocation is not affected by this. The revocation is possible informally via the contact mentioned above.
Storage period
The data will be stored subject to legal retention periods until the revocation of your consent. Should the distributor be discontinued beforehand, your data will be deleted at this time.
Recipients of personal data
Your data can be passed on to an external provider for the technical implementation of the email or postal dispatch.
